Foreign Minister of Lithuania Petras Vaitiekunas arrived in Uzbekistan on late Thursday, 19 April.

Mr Vaitiekunas will visit Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and meet speaker of lower house Erkin Khalilov. It is also expected that Lithuanian Foreign Minister will hold negotiations with his Uzbek counterpart Vladimir Norov.

It is also planned that Foreign Minister of Lithuania will meet members of Lithuanian society in Uzbekistan and visit sights in Tashkent city.

The delegation of Lithuania includes representatives of business circles, who will participate in cooperation exchange on 20 April.

Foreign Minister of Lithuania Petras Vaitiekunas is paying official visit to Central Asian states. In particular, he visits Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan within his tour.
