The company said it will start to issue licenses for tourism activities from the end of January 2014. The applications will be received via official website of Uzbektourism.

The application should include data about company and it will send via email. Uzbektelecom specialists will review the documents.

The stage-by-stage transition to electronic form on licensing will help to improve permission procedures in tourism activities. First of all, the regional tourism companies will benefit from it as they will not have to visit Uzbektourism office in Tashkent.

The company said that current procedure of issuing licenses will be kept, but later the applications will be issued only in electronic form.
