The company said that the authorized body of Uzbekistan prolonged the license of mobile operator for designing, constriction, exploitation and rendering mobile services till 10 October 2031.

Ucell, which provides services at GSM started, said that its four licenses in the telecommunication sphere were prolonged till 2020 and 2021.

COSCOM was founded in April 1996. The company provides services in GSM 900/1800 standards. In 2008, the company started to modernize its network. The volume of investments made up US$1.2 billion.

Currently, 9 million users use services of the company. Now, Ucell’s 2G network covers 95% of population of Uzbekistan, 3G – 53%. The company provides 4G services in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Navoi.
