MPs, in particular, discussed execution of the law “On budget system”, external audit and assessment of report on execution of the state budget, expertise of main direction of tax and budget policies, targeted and effective use of budget resources.

It was said that Accounting Chamber fully ensured execution of income part of state budget and expenses were in line with earlier approved parameters.

Legislative Chamber familiarized with analysis of Accounts Chamber on formation of income part of the state budget, full execution of budget by territorial and industrial bodies, assessment on reality of forecast figures, rational and targeted use of state budget resources.

It was noted that Accounts Chamber inspected targeted and effective use of resources at development of infrastructure, transport and communication in line with the recommendations of the Legislative Chamber. The Accounts Chamber also inspected execution of local budget of Khorezm and Bukhara regions.

MPs noted that it is necessary to strengthen attention to issues of targeted use of resources of Republican Road Fund, Pension Fund, Fund for Reconstruction, Capital Repair and Equipment of Educational and Medical establishments, Fund for land improvement, etc.

They underlined that Accounts Chamber should boost its activities, including execution of its orders on repayment of demages.

It was stated that Accounts Chamber analyzed reasons of shortages and violations, revealed during inspections. MPs said that Accounts Chamber should work on elimination of reasons of shortages and violations. After discussions, Legislative Chamber approved the report of the Accounts Chamber for 2012 and adopted a resolution.

Legislative Chamber also discussed reports of political parties on sources of financing of their activities in 2012.

Representatives of UzLiDep, People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, Milliy Tiklanish and Adolat parties presented the reports on sources of financing their activities in 2012.

It was said that all political parties adhered to local legislation and financial and accounting reports were submitted in line with the current legislation.
