During the session, MPs analyzed proposed the draft forecast of macroeconomic figures for 2012, which envisages to keep sustainable high growth of gross domestic product, industrial output, agruclture production, capital investments, services.

MPs underlined that the concept of tax and budget policy and draft State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2012 stipulate a complex of measures, directed at ensuring further positive changes in conditions and life standards of population, increasing salaries of budget employees, pensions, allowances, stipends, etc.

Legislative Chamber discussed measures, directed at further stimulating production of consumer goods, extending tax preferences, provided to producers, increasing budget allocations and resources from off-budget funds to capital investments, expanding road-construction works, habitation construction, and others.

The concept of tax policy envisages measures on decreasing rates of some taxes, which will cut tax burden to economy by 0.7 percentage points.

During the discussion, MPs supported the main directions of tax and budget policy and the State Budget for 2012.
