Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan developed and submitted the programme to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan. The document was directed at ensuring growth of employment, income and life standards of population.

The programme is based on the results of the analysis of the state of labor market in late 2010 and the measures directed at developing the economy and the region for 2011 in line with the 2009-2012 anti-crisis programme, the investment programme, localization and modernization programme.

The programme envisages that about 956,200 new workplaces will be created in 2011. The press service said.

After discussing the programme draft, Legislative Chamber approved the programme on creation of jobs and ensuring employment of population for 2011. The lower house of parliament adopted a corresponding resolution.
