Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The volume of loans allocated to legal entities, as of 1 March 2023, amounted to 292.44 trillion soums, which is 69.85% of the total loan portfolio of commercial banks in Uzbekistan, according to the data of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that the volume of the loan portfolio of commercial banks of Uzbekistan as of 1 March exceeded 397.64 trillion soums (an increase of 22%).

Loans provided to legal entities that are not credit institutions, as of 1 March 2023, exceeded 277.74 trillion soums, which is 17% higher compared to the same period in 2022.

The volume of leasing and factoring for legal entities decreased by 28% to 1.56 trillion soums. Interbank loans for legal entities increased by 21% and amounted to 3.21 trillion soums.

Banks provided microcredits in the amount of 5.01 trillion soums as of 1 March 2023, which is 50% less compared to the same period in 2022.

Legal entities as of 1 March 2023 received syndicated loans in the amount of 4.92 trillion soums, which is 12% higher compared to the same period in 2022.
