Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 31 January, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan Musa Djamanbaev.
The current state and measures to further expand trade and economic cooperation, including within the framework of the implementation of existing agreements between the two countries, were discussed.
Agreement was reached on a number of issues regarding the holding of bilateral events this year, the opening of “Made in Uzbekistan” trading houses in Bishkek and “Made in Kyrgyzstan” trading houses in Tashkent.
The parties also came to a common position on the need to intensify the activities of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz joint fund, develop new promising joint projects and expand energy, transport and logistics cooperation.
