Gazeta.uz reported that mill block No. 1 with the capacity of 500,000 tonnes of cement a year was fully repaired and reconstructed. The block was also equipped with highly efficient separator and transferred to closed cycle. Germany’s Christian Pfeiffer GmbH supplied technological equipment to the plant.
The modernization allowed the enterprise to launch production of oil-well Portland cement M-500, which is used for cementing oil and gas well and at construction of hydroengineering establishments.
Kyzylkumcement also reconstructed the second transport line with extension of 6.5 km, which is ued to supply raw material to enterprises from mountain pit.
The enterprise modernized two lines on packaging cement to 50 kg polypropylene packages and two transporting lines for loading packaged cement to wagons.
Kyzylkumcement financed the modernization project due to own resources.
Kyzylkumcement OJSC was commissioned in 1997 and it is largest cement plant in Uzbekistan. Its capacity is over 3.1 million tonnes a year.
