Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan to buy Uzbek gas for US$240

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and its neighbors - Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan - agreed 2009 gas supplies prices, Kyrgyz and Tajik representatives said.

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will buy 650 million cubic meters and 600 million cubic meters of natural gas respectively from Uzbekistan at the price of US$240 per 1,000 cubic meters.

Earlier, Uzbekistan said it will sell natural gas at the price of US$300 both to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Uzbekistan is only gas supplier to both countries.
