AGMK gifted Kuruvchi the early advantage when Rustam Shoimardanov put the ball in his own net with three minutes of the match gone before in form striker Jose Luis Villanueva doubled the AFC Champions League quarter-finalists’ lead just six minutes later.

Former Pakhtakor defender Gochguli Gochguliev made it 3-0 ten minutes from the interval before Villanueva completed the scoring for Kuruvchi in the 86th minute, four minutes after AGMK’s Alexander Vostrikov had reduced the deficit from the penalty spot.

The tie resumes in Tashkent on August 3 when Kuruvchi host the second leg.
