Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The second phase of the modern foundry at the "Uzavtosanoat" company’s foundry plant - KOVA Foundry (LLC Auto Spring Components), located in Andijan region, has been put into operation.
The project has been implemented using equipment that meets the most advanced international standards, allowing for the production of cast iron parts that will replace imports worth about US$30 million annually.
The sand molding line is equipped with machinery from the German company Heinrich Wagner Sinto Maschinenfabrik GmbH, which can cast up to 15,000 tons of cast iron parts annually.
Additionally, production lines for metal rods from the Spanish company Loramendi S.Coop, metal casting systems from the Italian company Progelta, and sand preparation and processing lines with a capacity of 100 tons per hour from the Danish company DISA have been installed and put into operation.
In the future, this line is planned to produce cast iron components for the automotive industry, agricultural machinery, and other related sectors.
