The Embassy of South Korea in Uzbekistan organized the event. This year, the Week will be held in Tashkent, Nukus and Urgench.

The Week is directed at strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between two nations, the Embassy of South Korea in Tashkent said.

The Week will include a Festival of Korean Cinema, football master class for young players, painting contest “Friendship between Korea and Uzbekistan”, Korean Traditional Fine Art.

The Week was launched with demonstration of the film “Miss Granny”. Within the Week, the organizers are planning to show various films, made in South Korea.
