Khazar TV shows films about the international festival in Kokand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan organized a trip to Uzbekistan for the crew of the Khazar TV television company to participate in the International Festival of Folk Applied Arts, held in Kokand in September, Dunyo reports.

Following the results of the creative trip, Azerbaijani television journalists prepared three 40-minute films dedicated to the rich and distinctive Uzbek culture, traditions and customs, as well as ancient Kokand.

In the presented stories, the author acquaints viewers in detail with the program and participants of the international festival, performances of Uzbek artists, virtual tours to exhibition pavilions, in which samples of folk and applied art of various peoples of the world were exhibited.

Supporting his statements with colorful examples, the journalist told the audience about the main historical stages of the formation and development of the Kokand Khanate, as well as its role in promoting trade, economic, cultural, scientific and educational ties in the countries of the Great Silk Road.

The filmmakers organized excursions to architectural monuments, the Khudoyarkhan Palace, the Jami Mosque, the Mausoleum of Madarikhan, the Norbut-Biy Madrasah, and the tomb of Dakhma-i-Shahon.

The TV presenter in his film recommends that his viewers visit Uzbekistan in order to see for themselves the beauty and grace of this country, which has made a huge contribution to the development of human civilization.
