The event is organized by the Fund Forum and the Center of Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi” at the assistance of the Kashkadarya regional administration and partner organizations.

About 500 boys and girls from all regions of Uzbekistan will undergo training within two weeks based on special curriculum. The project has been organized since 2007 and it is aimed at supporting and improving skills and knowledge of winners of youth programmes of Fund Forum and members of the Center of Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi”.

Within the summer camp, the participants will undergo trainings in such groups as “Young businesspersons and business trainers”, “Internet journalists”, “TV journalism”, “Young translators club”, “Young programmers” and each group will compete each others.

In practical part of training, the groups will hold presentations, press-conferences, debates and business forum. Special press secretaries of each group will publish articles, interviews and images. The organizers also will hold various games, competitions and presentations, etc.

Summer camp is also supported by British Council office in Uzbekistan, UN Development Programme, UNFPA, OSCE, GIZ, JICA, Nagoya University and others.

From this year, any youth at the age between 18 and 25 received opportunity to participate in summer camp. The organizers said that over 1,000 applications were received and 500 boys and girls successfully passed selection stage.
