Established in 2005 by the Fund Forum and Kamolot Public Youth Movement, the national contest is becoming increasingly competitive making it possible to discover and support young talents in diverse types of intellectual and creative activities.

Additional conditions have been created for youths wishing to show their worth this year: applications may now be submitted online on the website www.KelajakOvozi.uz, which makes the youth contest not only a major youth project but also a technologically advanced contest whose organizers continue to work to add new opportunities, introduce innovative ideas and support the creative undertakings of the country`s youth.

The contest`s regional rounds will take place across the country from May 31 to June 15. The jury composed of prominent scholars as well as culture and art professionals will go to regions to select the most talented and the most active boys and girls. This year the selection rounds will be held at district and regional levels. The adding of the district round this year is testimony to the rising competition among the participants and the increasing level of the contest. The ceremony to award the winners of the regional selection rounds will take place in September across the republic.
