Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev hosted a delegation from Uzbekistan led by Saida Mirziyoyeva, the President’s Assistant of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed further strengthening the multifaceted partnership between the two countries.
Tokayev highlighted the allied and strategic nature of the relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, emphasizing the importance of establishing close contacts between the presidential administrations to expand political dialogue at the highest levels.
Special focus was given to deepening cooperation in the areas of information-ideological, cultural-humanitarian, and educational spheres, as well as in youth policy.
President Tokayev also welcomed the international intellectual games "Zakovat," which are scheduled to take place in Astana, noting their significance for cultural rapprochement between the peoples.
It is worth mentioning that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan is scheduled to visit Astana on 7-8 August.
