In line with the agreement, the Kazakh side will present 2.6 hectares of land in Astana for 49 years to construction of Uzbekistan’s Embassy.
In its turn, the Uzbek side will provide 2 hectares of land in Tashkent to Kazakhstan for construction of Kazakh embassy. The land will be allocated for 49 years.
Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan signed the agreement in Tashkent on 17 March 2010.
As earlier reported, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov approved the agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kazakhstan on mutual presenting land areas for construction of diplomatic missions on 30 July 2010.
