"Problems of the Aral Sea should not remain without attention by the SCO member states", Kazakh Premier Karim Massimov has stated at the SCO premiers’ session in Tashkent today.

"Water resources management is one of the most important problems for our states. Efficient use of water-energy resources of the region has special significance. In this context it is possible to mention the experience of the Central Asian states developing the project of a corresponding concept. It is necessary to create analogous document within the SCO framework", the Premier emphasized.
