Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, met with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan, Bakhtiyor Ibrahimov.
During the conversation, the key issues of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were discussed, covering political, trade-economic, water-energy, and transit-transport sectors.
Special attention was given to the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level during the working visits of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Khiva in April and the state visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Astana in August of last year.
Murat Nurtleu emphasized Kazakhstan’s interest in deepening multifaceted cooperation with Uzbekistan, based on friendship, strategic partnership, and alliance.
