Karin Knapp defeated defending champion Bojana Jovanovski of Serbia in the final on Saturday in straight sets – 6:2 and 7:6(4).

It is worth to mention that Bojana Jovanovski could not break one tradition of the tournament. In sixteen years, none of tennis player could not win tournament two years in a raw.

After the match Knapp said she is happy to win the title. She said that this is her first title in six years. She said there were injuries and she overcame them. Knapp added that she will try to return to Tashkent next year.
