Fund Forum said that the launch of solar batteries and solar water heating at the Central Muynak district hospital was also held within the ceremony.
The campaign was organized by the Social Initiatives Support Fund and Fund Forum. Representatives of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Public Education, kindergartens, rural medial points, UNDP and others participated at the event.
The funds to purchase gifts to kindergartens for 5 million soums were collected during ecologic campaign “NGOs of Uzbekistan in support of children of Muynak district of Karakalpakstan” on 26 June 2013.
Hydrolife Bottlers will provide 240 tonnes of drinking water to kindergartens. The first party for 40 tonnes was delivered to the children. Uzbekistan Temir Yollari delivered water to children of Muynak region for free of charge.
Janabai Jusipov, head of the Muynak district educational department, said that such events are directed at supporting population in Aral Sea Basin, first of all children. Clean drinking water will help to strengthen health of children for sure.
Oralhan Polatbaeva, a citizen of Muynak district, expressed gratitude to the organizers for organization of the campaign and for respect of population of the district.
The ceremony ended with concert of children dance band Guncha and singers Mirzagul Sapayeva and Mahset Utemuratov.
