Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, Artistic Director and Conductor of the Youth Symphony Orchestra Kamoliddin Urinbaev appointed rector of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Culture said.

At one time, he worked as the Chief Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra (State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan) and the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, as well as a teacher at the Conservatory.

He graduated from the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, specializing in playing folk instruments and opera and symphonic conducting.

He is the owner of the badge "Uzbekistan Belgisi". In December 2014, by the decree of the president, Kamoliddin Urinbayev was awarded the title “Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
