Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A resolution of the President “On measures to further improve the efficiency of the field of fine and applied art” was adopted.
In accordance with the resolution, in October 2020, a wide celebration of the 565th anniversary of the great artist and painter Kamoliddin Behzod will be held.
In order to perpetuate the memory of Kamoliddin Behzod, one of the streets of Tashkent will be given his name.
Starting from the 2020/2021 academic year, for students of higher educational institutions studying in the field of “fine, applied art and design”, the State scholarship named after Kamoliddin Behzod is established.
Also, the annual traditional creative contest of miniatures and folk arts and crafts “Kamoliddin Behzod from the world” is organized and held.
According to the resolution, by 15 September 2020, the alley of the Kamoliddin Behzod Museum of Oriental Miniature Art will be given a modern look, and the monument to Kamoliddin Behzod located on its territory will be melted into bronze in 2022.
At the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan are organized:
- Center for retraining and advanced training of teachers and specialists in the areas of art education;
- A workshop of artistic skill (higher art courses) as a preparatory stage in the system of postgraduate education.
The activities of the Center begin on 1 January 2022, and the Workshop of Artistic Excellence - from the 2022/2023 academic year.
The Republican Specialized Art School will be named after Pavel Benkov, who made a great contribution to the development of the fine arts of our country.
Starting from 1 November 2020, employees of the central office of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan will be set a monthly bonus of 100 percent of the official salary at the expense of the State budget.
