Kamilov meets with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 March  2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov in Abu Dhabi met with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (Turkic Council) Baghdad Amreyev.

As noted in the conversation, the dynamic tendencies observed at present in the activities of the Turkic Council are of considerable interest to Uzbekistan. Our country is determined to be part of this process and develop mutually beneficial cooperation.

The sides also discussed practical issues of holding the next meeting of the Turk Business Council and its business forum on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in 2019 in Tashkent, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The meeting discussed other topics related to the interaction between Uzbekistan and the Turkic Council.
