Kafolat collects 42.1bn soums of insurance premiums in 2014
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Kafolat collected insurance premiums for 42.1 billion soums in 2014, which rose by 35.3% year-on-year.

According to the press service of the company, it signed about 579,100 insurance agreements.

Total volume of rendered insurance services made up 15.4 trillion soums, which increased by 51.3% year-on-year in the reporting period.

The company made up payouts on 3,000 agreements. Total sum of payouts made up over 6.7 billion soums in the reporting period.

The main part of payouts fell to share of mandatory insurance of civil liabilities of employees, mandatory insurance of civil liabilities of vehicle owners, insurance of pledged property and personal insurance.

As of 1 January 2015, the investments of the company made up 32.5 billion soums, which grew by 12.4% year-on-year.

The insurance reserves grew by 26.1% from 23.8 billion soums in the beginning of 2014 to 30 billion in the end of the year.

The company said that it handed over 350 agreements with total sum of liabilities for 3.7 trillion soums in 2014.

Kafolat said that it increased its charter capital to 8.4 million euros as of 1 January 2014. This allowed to carry out reinsurance activities. It signed over 800 reinsurance agreements and accepted liabilities for 4.3 trillion soums.

In 2014, the company collected insurance premiums for about 12.2 billion soums from individuals. At the same time, Kafolat collected premiums for 6 billion soums from small and private businesses.
