Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan judo team completed its participation at the Asian Championships in Hong Kong. Today, as part of the continental championship, mixed team bouts took place.

Our judokas defeated the team of Turkmenistan in the quarterfinals. However, in the semi-finals they lost to the Mongolia team and in the fight for third place they went to the mat against South Korea. The fights ended in favor of Uzbekistan with a score of 4:1 and our athletes in the team mixed doubles were awarded a bronze medal.

In the individual competition, Uzbek judokas won 1 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze. Thus, the delegation of Uzbekistan completed the Asian Championship with 7 awards.
