The training is a joint project of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and UND project “Support to the Development of the Microfinance Sector”, project “Support to the Development of the Microfinance Sector in Central Asia”, GTZ, IFC project on strengthening financial infrastructure in Central Asia and Azerbaijan in cooperation with seco and International Journalists Re-training Center and National Association of Electronic Mass Media.

The training is aimed at improving knowledge and awareness of business journalists in coverage of microfinancing sector and system of credit information exchange.

The event will cover such issues as legislation, strengthening potential of local organizations, promotion of social role in microfinancing and exchange of credit information.
