Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Russia’s Rostov Region visited Uzbekistan’s Jizzakh Region.

During the visit, Governor of Rostov Region Vasily Golubev met with the Governor of Jizzakh Region, Ergash Saliev.

The discussions focused on enhancing trade and economic ties between the two regions. Ergash Saliev highlighted the rapid growth in Jizzakh’s economy and social sectors, while Vasily Golubev shared success stories from key industries in Rostov Region.

The Russian delegation also participated in a business forum aimed at promoting trade and economic cooperation between the two regions.

Both governors delivered opening remarks, followed by presentations showcasing the economic, investment, and tourism potential of Jizzakh and Rostov Regions.

Representatives from agro-industrial and industrial enterprises, as well as the business community of Rostov Region, attended the event.

As a result of the forum, a series of cooperation agreements were signed between the two regions.
