Previously, specialists of the Institute participated at JICA courses on "Water Quality Monitoring for Central Asia" held in Chubu International Center, Japan. Now, they have a rare opportunity to successfully apply and enhance the received advanced knowledge while operating the granted modern equipment.

The equipment is an Ion Chromatograph, which is used to examine water quality by checking the presence of anions and cations. As a result of using this modern equipment, the quality of the analysis is expected to be drastically improved while material cost and time needed for this activity will be notable reduced.

Besides, the equipment will be used in the course of development of new standards and methods of research, which will be introduced in all water quality monitoring laboratories of the country.
