At the session, Azat Tileumuratov, chairperson of Karakalpak branch of Uzbekistan Farmers’ Association, Bobomurod Mahsudov, head of information-analytical department of National center for geodesy and cartography of Uzbekistan, Vohid Ahmadjonov, deputy head of the Department of water balance and introduction of energy saving technologies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management of Uzbekistan, made presentation of mini projects in agriculture and global cartography, which were implemented with the JICA Alumni Association.
Mirzohid Yuldashev, deputy director of Center for agro information and innovation, briefed the participants on held seminar titled “Opportunities for use of experience of Japan on creation and development of intensive gardens in Uzbekistan”, which was attended by over 70 farmers from Bukhara region.
Representatives of Center for hydrometeorology service “Uzgidromet” and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent presented their projects.
Participants also familiarized with the plans of JICA Alumni Association for 2012.
