Jasur Khasonov’s Lekhwiya claim Qatari title
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan international midfielder Jasur Khasonov became the champion of Qatar with his side Lekhwiya Sports Club.
Lekhwiya claimed 3-0 victory over Umm Salal and ensured top spot in the league for the first time. Bakari Kone, Aruna Dindane and Mohamed Razaq were on target.
It is worth to note that Jasur Khasonov scored three goals in his debut season for newly crowned champions.
Al Ahli of another Uzbek player Shavkat Mulladjanov is on last place and it will have to start next season in the second division.
