Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Yosihisa Kuroda and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov signed the exchange notes.

Within the project “Providing medical equipment”, the Government of Japan provides the grant at the size of 250 million yens (about US$2,986 million).

Products, presented within the project, comprises of medical equipment, produced in the Japanese regions, which suffered from earthquake of 11 March 2011.
