“Day 1C: Careers” is a traditional annual event for students, organized by the international firm “1C” and its regional partners. This year the event was held for the first time in Uzbekistan.

At the event, the guests receive information about work in the field of business automation, get acquainted with the opportunities for professional growth in the companies “1C: Franchisee”. The advantage of the event is that professionals, working for “1C” partners in the region, share their knowledge and experience.

The first such event in Uzbekistan, organized by Venkon jointly with Inha University, attracted more than 200 students of leading universities in Tashkent - Inha University in Tashkent, Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Westminster International University in Tashkent, Tashkent Financial Institute, Singapore Institute of Management Development in Tashkent.

The students were able to personally communicate with the leaders and leading specialists of partner companies of “1C” in Uzbekistan. They discussed the issues of employment and internship. Within the framework of the event, master classes and training sessions were organized, which attracted interest among the participants.

The event ended with a contest-hackathon for development of a mobile application using the “1C” technologies. Students-participants, with the help of advises from professionals, could already make their application on "1C", using the basic knowledge obtained in the master class. As a result of the contest, three winners received valuable prizes.

Rector of IUT Sarvar Babakhadzhaev said: “The choice of the future profession is a serious issue in the life of every person. Such events help young people to determine their future profession, and those who have already made their choice to find a job. We invite other companies and organizations to cooperate in the employment of young people”.

Deputy director of Venkon Group LLC Iroda Razikova said: “According to the monitoring of labor market offers, currently there are a lot of proposals of technical and economic directions and young professionals can be hired to these positions. Today, students learned about the opportunities for internships, production and pre-graduation practices, exchanged contacts with managers and leading specialists of the company. Also, students learned how to start their businesses, using 1C technology. "
