The UzACI said that Houlin Zhao delivered special lecture to students and teachers of the university and discussed issues of further cooperation between TUIT and ITU.

Houlin Zhao briefed about ITU activity and he said that ITU mission is to ensure growth and sustainable development of telecommunication and information networks, as well as assist universal access.

ITU deputy chief handed over to TUIT a certificate about membership of the university to the Telecommunication Development Sector of the ITU.

In his speech, TUIT rector said that membership to Telecommunication Development Sector of the ITU will help to participate in working bodies of the Telecommunication Development Sector of the ITU, seminars, conferences and events, expand cooperation with leading universities of the world, etc.
