ITE Uzbekistan sums up results of spring season

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- ITE Uzbekistan, an organizer of exhibitions and conferences in Uzbekistan, summed up the results of its spring season. It is worth to mention that it is an only member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) in Uzbekistan.

From 26 February to 1 March UzExpoCenter hosted the 14th International Exhibition “Construction – UzBuild 2013”, the 2nd International Exhibition “Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary, Environmental Technology, Swimming Pool and Renewable Energies - Aqua-Therm Tashkent 2013” and the 10th Jubilee International Exhibition “Furniture and Production Technologies – MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2013”. It became good tradition to unite specialists and experts of various industries under one roof. Over 200 companies from 24 countries participated at these exhibitions, which is evidence for scale and level of these events.

Gianfredo Comazzi, a head of Special agency of Novara Commerce Chamber - E.V.A.E.T., said Italian producers consider Uzbekistan as important trade partner as the market of the country is developing dynamically. He said that there are opportunities for strengthening relations with the Uzbek companies. He noted that the exhibition was attended by five companies, which present 15 types of products from sanitary equipment to heating system. He expressed assurance that the events will expand business relations and economic relations between two states.

The seventh international exhibition of chemical and plastic industry “Сhemie & Plastex Uzbekistan – 2013”, which was held on 3-5 April at UzExpoCenter, continued successful start of the season. About 20 large producers from various countries of the world presented their opportunities.

International Exhibitions World Food Uzbekistan – 2013 and AgroWorld Uzbekistan – 2013 attracted attention of the large number of visitors. About 75% of exhibitors of the exhibitions were foreign companies, who arrive in Uzbekistan not for the first time. Uzbek International Exhibition “Packaging. Tare. Printing - Ipack Uzbekistan” was also organized within these exhibitions and united companies, which offer their products and solutions in packaging industry.

According to ITE Uzbekistan, about 93% of the exhibitors of these events signed agreements, while 50% of them found distributors in Uzbekistan. About 82% of exhibitions said they are satisfied with the results of the exhibition and 46% of them confirmed their participation next year.

In April, ITE Uzbekistan also organized the 18th International Week of Healthcare of Uzbekistan TIHE – 2013, which united such exhibitions as TIHE, APTEKA EXPO Central Asia, Stomotology Uzbekistan and TechFarm. The events presented from raw materials and ingredients to pharmaceuticals to furniture and equipment for clinics. The exhibition was held at two pavilions and united over 160 companies from over 20 countries.

The participants underlined that they are satisfied with results and over 70% of them said they reached beneficial deals and found business partners.

The spring exhibition season completed with projects in power, oil and gas sector. On 13-15 May, Power Uzbekistan – 2013 presented all the best from leading representatives of power industry, energy saving and electrotechnical equipment.

On 14 May, the international forum “Oil and Gas Uzbekistan – OGU 2013” was opened. It was attended by 160 companies and firms from 30 countries, including Uzbekistan, China, Austria, United States, UAE, Great Britain, Vietnam, Germany, Denmark, South Korea, etc.

They demonstrated modern equipment on mining and processing oil and gas, latest trends in transportation of oil and gas, exploration equipment, etc.
