IT Park Uzbekistan discusses cooperation with the French-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  IT Park Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the French-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce (CCIFO), chaired by Joana Golas. The discussions were attended by the Director of IT Service Export at IT Park, Makhliyo Muksinova.

The parties explored prospects for cooperation in IT service exports, collaboration between technology companies in Uzbekistan and France, and opportunities to attract French investors to Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem. The meeting also addressed the potential signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.

IT Park Uzbekistan presented the CCIFO delegation with an overview of the country’s IT business environment, including tax and customs benefits for residents, support programs for startups and tech companies, and initiatives aimed at fostering international partnerships. Particular attention was given to the "Zero Risk" program, which offers foreign IT companies free office space and infrastructure support during their initial operations in Uzbekistan.

The French-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce (CCIFO) serves as a platform for strengthening business ties between entrepreneurs from both countries, facilitating investment and promoting business initiatives. Cooperation with CCIFO provides access to major French tech events, such as Viva Technology Paris.

Makhliyo Muksinova, Director of IT Service Export Development at IT Park Uzbekistan, emphasized that France is a strategic partner for Uzbekistan in ITES (IT-enabled services) exports. She highlighted the significant potential for collaboration, particularly in IT and business process outsourcing. According to her, the entry of French companies into Uzbekistan will create new jobs, strengthen the country’s position as an international IT hub, and allow French firms to tap into local talent while expanding into new markets.

IT Park Uzbekistan continues its active efforts to attract foreign companies and create favorable conditions for the growth of the digital industry. The country is solidifying its status as a promising center for digital innovation in the region, offering a business-friendly environment, tax incentives, and access to a highly skilled IT workforce.

Partnerships with French companies could play a crucial role in expanding IT service exports, introducing cutting-edge technologies, and attracting investments into Uzbekistan’s local ecosystem.
