Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan met with Noguchi Yasuyuki, CEO of Japan’s Digital Knowledge, to discuss the expansion of their partnership.

Digital Knowledge plays a key role in promoting Uzbekistan in the Japanese market and attracting investors. As part of their collaboration, both sides organize joint events to strengthen business ties.

Additionally, Digital Knowledge established Japan Digital University in Uzbekistan, which trains IT specialists and helps them learn Japanese, facilitating employment opportunities in Japanese companies opening offices in Uzbekistan.

A major topic of discussion was the upcoming launch of IT Park’s office in Tokyo, which will be located in the Digital Knowledge building. This move marks a significant step in strengthening IT sector ties between the two countries.

Digital Knowledge expressed its full support for the opening ceremony and agreed to assist in hosting the Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference (UOC) in Tokyo. The parties also explored initiatives to engage Japanese companies in Uzbekistan’s IT sector, fostering new partnership opportunities and joint projects.

To prepare for the March 2025 office launch, an IT Park delegation will visit Japan, holding meetings with IT companies in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya to expand business relations and explore new collaboration avenues.

The IT Park office in Japan is expected to boost Uzbekistan’s IT sector on the global stage, providing new opportunities for IT firms and enhancing outsourcing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan.

The Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference will take place on 24 April 2025, in Tokyo.
