Istomin progresses to second round in Gstaad

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin advanced to the second round of the tournament Swiss Open Gstaad in Swiss city of Gstaad.

In the first round Denis Istomin defeated Maxime Teixeira of France in straight sets with the score 6:0 and 6:4.

The match lasted 55 minutes. Istomin recorded one ace and four break points. The French play served once ace and registered seven double faults.

In next round, Denis Istomin will face Henri Laaksonen of Switzerland or João Sousa of Portugal.
