Istomin moves to next round of McDonald's Burnie International

Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin started McDonald's Burnie International in Australia with the victory.
In the first round, world number 57 defeated New Zealand representative Rubin Statham in straight sets – 6/4 and 6/3 in the first round of the US$50,000 in Burnie, Australia.
In next round of US$50,000 Challenger event, Istomin will face Australia’s Samuel Groth. Denis Istomin is number one seeded in the tournament.
