Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 and 18 August this year, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, together with consulting companies KPMG and E&Y, organized training events on the topic "Improving the compliance system in commercial banks".

The events were held with the participation of foreign experts who shared theoretical aspects and practical experience in creating an effective compliance service. In particular, representatives of commercial banks got acquainted with the main elements of operating models and recent risk management practices.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of an individual approach in assessing the risks of clients and training of personnel involved in the processes of the compliance system in banks.

During the event, participants and speakers discussed current problems and difficulties in ensuring efficient operation and implementation of new compliance models in banks.
