Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Another meeting was held at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan with representatives of Mastercard.

The meeting discussed the current state of cooperation, as well as preliminary results of the research project carried out under the memorandum of cooperation. In particular, it was noted that in order to further develop the payment services market and increase the share of non-cash payments, proposals have been developed in 8 priority areas.

At the next stage of the project, the parties agreed to continue practical work in such priority areas as cybersecurity, digital payments, financial literacy and payment infrastructure.
