Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance with representatives of the German development bank KfW.

The meeting was attended by KfW Portfolio Managers Yassin Ben Said and Teresa Geipel, Head of the Economic Cooperation Department of the German Embassy in Uzbekistan Michael Wimmer, Senior Portfolio Manager Vitalis Ritter and Project Coordinator Malik Mukhitdinov.

From the side of the ministry, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Jasur Karshibaev, Director of the Department of Public Debt Zarifjon Olimjonov took part.

The meeting was dedicated to discussing current and promising project portfolios, including strategies and ways of financing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

The participants emphasized their readiness to continue joint programs aimed at supporting entrepreneurship, innovation and increasing economic activity.
