Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov met with the adviser on international politics and human rights of the British Law Society Trina Lenihan and the head of the international relations department Marco Sillario, Dunyo news agency reported.
The Association was founded in 1825 and is the largest and only association and support society of British lawyers, also known as the Law Reform Council. There are 220 thousand members in Great Britain.
The British side noted that it has been following reforms and changes in the legal field of Uzbekistan in recent years, and proposed to conduct trainings for Uzbek lawyers. The trainings will help develop mechanisms to increase the effectiveness of reforms implemented in the field and achieve positive results.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of representatives of the association to Uzbekistan in the second half of April.
