Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 July, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Uzbekistan Atanas Kristin to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of tourism.

During the meeting, First Deputy Minister U. Azamov and Ambassador discussed the issues of increasing the number of tourists visiting Uzbekistan from the Republic of Bulgaria, promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan through the Bulgarian media.

They also exchanged views on the establishment of charter flights between Bulgaria and Uzbekistan, as well as on the cooperation of Bulgarian universities that train personnel for tourism destinations with the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
