Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek boxer Isroil Madrimov suffered a defeat against American fighter Vergil Ortiz in a 12-round bout.

The fight went the full distance, with the judges unanimously declaring Ortiz the winner. The official scorecards read 117-111, 115-113, and 115-113 in favor of the American.

With this victory, Vergil Ortiz claimed the interim WBC championship belt.

This marks the second professional loss in Isroil Madrimov’s career.
