Islam Karimov receives International Judo Federation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Paris hosted a congress of International Judo Federation. The event elected presidents of continental organizations and discussed development of judo, as well as preliminary results.

At the congress, it was announced that International Judo Federation awarded special award to President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov for his contribution to judo development.

At the same time, Rishod Sobirov (60 kg) has been named as the best male judoka today, while his coach Andrei Shturbabin was announced as the best coach for men today.
