Iranian Ambassador: “Trump’s Titanic Will Be Stopped”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mohammad Ali Eskandari, delivered a sharply worded and candid statement in response to recent developments in the Middle East, labeling Israel’s actions as state aggression and terrorism.

“The Zionist regime has launched a new wave of aggression against the independent state — the Islamic Republic of Iran — through state terrorism aimed at eliminating Iranian scientists and commanders. This imposed war began precisely at a time when negotiations involving Iran were underway,” the diplomat stressed.

According to Eskandari, the attack was carried out without authorization from the UN Security Council — the only body mandated to ensure international peace. There was no immediate threat justifying the use of force, and the act of aggression went unpunished. “Such a dangerous trend gives governments across the world a green light to act unilaterally,” he noted.

The ambassador expressed particular concern over the role of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), accusing its director-general of betrayal for allowing the agency to be used as a tool of attack. “There has still been no condemnation of the strike on a peaceful facility — the first in history to come under attack while under IAEA monitoring,” Eskandari said.

He reminded that the state responsible for the attack is not a member of the agency, possesses nuclear weapons, and has not signed any international agreements on the restriction of nuclear, chemical, or biological arms — yet continues to receive open support from the United States.

Eskandari sharply criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump, calling his actions destructive to the international order. “He demands that the population of 13-million-strong Tehran abandon the city. Among them are millions of citizens from other Muslim countries who found refuge in Tehran over the years, fleeing American aggression,” he stated.

According to the ambassador, Trump's words no longer carry weight with any nation, including his own.

He specifically highlighted the ambitions of the United States and Israel for global domination, describing their actions as manifestations of the “Nile to Euphrates doctrine.” He characterized current events as “a new form of barbarism imposed on the world under the guise of international institutions and modern weaponry.”

“The true aggressive nature of the Zionist regime is evident to all — whether through crimes against humanity in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and now Iran,” Eskandari emphasized, adding that even the West’s vast propaganda machinery cannot conceal the truth.

The ambassador called on the international community to immediately and unequivocally condemn acts of aggression. “Silence in the face of such crimes amounts to complicity and encouragement of the aggressor… To stand for truth and justice by all available means is not merely permissible — it is lawful,” he declared.

He stressed that the Iranian people, who have weathered numerous crises, have always responded to negotiations with dialogue, and to war — with resistance. “Their weapons — ‘Allahu Akbar’ — together with knowledge and civilization, will sustain them,” Eskandari stated.

Concluding his remarks, the ambassador drew a symbolic parallel with history. “No matter how powerful Pharaoh seemed, in his battle against light and justice, he ultimately fell… Likewise, the ‘Titanic’ of Trump, no matter how mighty and grand it may appear, will be stopped. Inshallah,” he concluded.
