Iran qualified in style for the AFC U-16 Championship finals after winning all their four matches in Group B.
Played at the Pas Stadium in Tehran, the hosts thrashed Bahrain 7-0 in their first match before going on to record wins against Kuwait (3-0), Jordan (4-0) and Nepal (3-0). Bahrain were the second team to qualify from this group with seven points.
From Group G, DPR Korea and Australia have booked their place in the finals. Both teams won one match and drew another in the three-team group. Australia beat Malaysia 2-0 and then drew with DPR Korea goalless. The Koreans thrashed Malaysia 4-0.
Korea Republic stormed into the finals from Group H with wins over Thailand and Chinese Taipei.
