Investment Cooperation with European Companies Discussed in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 July 2025, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Akram Aliev, held talks in Tashkent with representatives of European businesses.
The meetings focused on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing joint projects within Uzbekistan.
During the negotiations with Marko Mohar, partner of the Slovenian company MSIN d.o.o., the two sides discussed prospects for cooperation in corporate restructuring, greenfield investments, and asset consolidation across sectors such as information technology, real estate, energy, and industrial production.
MSIN d.o.o. is a private investment and consulting firm from Slovenia specializing in strategic investments and support for corporate transformation processes.
On the same day, a separate meeting was held with Gaetano Crisci, a representative of the French engineering company Technip Energies.
The discussion emphasized opportunities for joint projects focused on sustainable technological solutions in the fields of energy, petrochemicals, and infrastructure development.
Technip Energies is an international company with a broad project portfolio in the energy sector, engaged in engineering, construction management, and the implementation of innovative solutions.
As a result of the talks, both sides agreed to continue working on the projects at the expert level with the involvement of relevant ministries and potential investors.
Both parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in developing long-term and strategic partnerships.
